Victory Egg

Theo Fabergé’s final salute to his World War II comrades-in-arms pays homage to these heroes and their sacrifices in the most bloody conflict ever. Crafted from sterling silver, 24 karat gold and guilloche enamel, the egg is an elegant yet powerful depiction of the armed forces in the major theatres of the conflict.

The base has three panels of guilloche enamel, each with a silver and gold medallion honoring a different service: the red panel for the Armored Divisions represented by a Sherman tank; the white panel for the Air Corps featuring three Avenger aircraft; and the blue panel for the Navy with the USS Pennsylvania and cruisers on the line.

The finial is the soaring Eagle of Justice.
