Sea Fountain Egg


The Sea Fountain celebrates Theo's love of the sea and his commitment to the protection of the natural world. The porcelain Egg, hand-painted in deep marine blue, is encrusted with vermeil shells decorated with faceted jewels - diamonds, blue topaz, pink tourmalines, yellow citrines and cultured pearls. Swimming among the shells are entwined seahorses with sparkling ruby eyes. The seahorses are flanked by the enamel flowing sea flora, all among the festoons of cultured pearls representing the foaming, surging waves.

On opening the Egg, the surprise within - a nautilus shell flowing with a cornucopia of pearls, The entrance to the shell is guarded by the King of the Oceans, Neptune. Wearing his mystical cloak and with full regalia, he holds his trident in one hand and a roped miniature Egg in the other.

The surprise within - a nautilus shell flowing with a cornucopia of pearls,  the entrance to the shell is guarded by the King of the Oceans, Neptune. Enlarge Neptune and his nautilus cave can be arranged as a separate objet d'art for display. Theo has prepared a further surprise under the oyster-shell sea, a cluster of shimmering shells set with pearls lining the interior bottom of the egg.
