New Patriot

Theo Fabergé’s New Patriot Egg honors a city and nation, which triumphed over the adversity of September 11, 2001. Hand wrought in bronze atop a base of nero portero Carrera marble, the pentagon of the pedestal unite the new heroes of 9/11 – miniature statues of a policeman, a construction worker, the New York fireman, an armed Special Forces combatant, and an Emergency Medical Services operative. Above them, one of the two bronze cityscapes of New York poignantly omits the outline of the Twin Towers.

Eagle Finial

The 18 karat gold egg itself rises aloft of the cityscapes, wrapped in the flames of the World Trade Center, Pentagon and Pennsylvania -- a symbolic inferno crafted by hand in 18 karat yellow gold and unique red gold. The yellow gold egg lid is hand engraved with the 50 stars of the United States while the Eagle of Justice soars above as a finial sculpted in multi-colored solid gold with its eyes brilliant rubies.

New Patriot
On opening the egg, Ground Zero is portrayed with its wreckage relieved by a pristine American flag, hand-engraved and bright polished - all in 18 karat white gold.

Concealed below, the egg’s final surprise is a hand-carved model of the Tomb of the Unknowns, sculpted in statuary marble.
