The magnificence of the Palaces and Parks of Peterhof is captured in this creation. Hand painted and sculpted in fine bone china in bas relief, the front depicts a 19th century painting of the façade of the Great Palace. The Neptune Fountain, of the upper gardens of the Parks, is featured on the reverse while three mythical dolphins support the Egg. Atop sits the dome of St Peter and St Paul Church crafted in vermeil.
