The hand painted crystal encloses three colorful enameled butterflies dancing to the sound of Tchaikovski's Waltz of the Flowers from the concealed music box. The vermeil base of ornamental grass design and paneling of bubinga wood are detailed with the double headed eagle of Romanov Russia.
